Your Walmart purchase history is the complete record of everything you've bought from Walmart — online orders, in-store Walmart Pay transactions, pharmacy refills, gas purchases at Walmart fuel stations, and Walmart Marketplace orders. This guide shows you every way to access it, plus what to do when something is missing.
Sign in to walmart.com → click your name in the top right → Purchase History. Every online order ever placed on your account appears here, with:
The Walmart app shows in-store purchases when you pay with Walmart Pay or scan the paper receipt to your account. Tap your profile → Purchase history to see them with full line-item detail. The app will offer to add new receipts automatically if you scan them within 7 days of purchase.

Online orders at walmart.com are kept indefinitely while your account is active — you can usually scroll back several years. In-store Walmart Pay transactions retain at least 2 years. The official walmart.com/receipt tool retains 90 days of card-paid in-store receipts even without an account.
Common reasons: you paid with cash and didn't use Walmart Pay; the card wasn't linked to your account at the time; the purchase was made under a different account or as a guest; or the transaction was a Walmart Marketplace order (those track separately).
Walmart doesn't offer a single bulk export, but each online order has a downloadable invoice (PDF). For tax season, you can request a year-end summary by contacting Walmart Customer Care, or use our generator to consolidate records.
Open the Walmart app → tap the camera icon → 'Add receipt' → scan the QR code on the bottom of the receipt. The receipt must be from the last 7 days for the app to accept it. Older receipts can't be retroactively added.
