Walgreens moved receipt recovery into myWalgreens: per the official myWalgreens digital receipts FAQ, once enrolled you receive a digital receipt by email or in the app after each purchase, and can "view your transaction history online or in the Walgreens App right after you make a purchase." Enroll through the Walgreens App, your Walgreens.com account, or at the register. From then on each purchase generates a digital receipt (email or in-app, per your preference), and transaction history is viewable immediately after checkout. That's the archive to check first when a paper receipt disappears.
Per the returns help page: log in at walgreens.com → hover over Purchases → Purchase History → click the order number → use the Print or PDF icons on the order details page. At checkout, the confirmation page also has a Print Receipt button, and a copy is emailed automatically.
