Grab Receipt Generator is a free online tool from ReceiptMaker.org. Grab keeps only 6 months of transaction history. Get your official e-receipt first — then recreate older ride or GrabFood receipts for expense records. Use cases include replacing lost personal receipts, props for film/TV/social-media content, bookkeeping practice, and creative projects. Generated receipts are for personal records and novelty only — never for fraudulent returns or expense fraud. Available at https://receiptmaker
Grab retains your transaction history for 6 months — after that, the official receipt is gone. Grab states plainly: "Currently, you can only retrieve transactions from the past 6 months." If your ride or GrabFood order is still inside that window, get the real e-receipt using the official steps below. If it isn't, this Grab receipt generator rebuilds a matching record for your own expense file.
Automatic e-receipts by email. Per Grab's Help Centre, "You can automatically receive e-receipts for all your Grab transactions through your email. Simply verify your email address listed under your account profile first." Grab won't send e-receipts to unverified addresses. To check: Grab app → Account icon (bottom right) → tap your username — a green check mark appears beside a verified email.
Request a single receipt in-app. Account icon → Help Centre → your last booking shows (tap View all for others) → View more articles → "I'd like an email copy of my receipt" → Send Receipt.
Browse your history. Open the Grab app → Activity → History (top-right) → filter by service category. For rides, tapping a trip shows the booking ID, car plate, driver, fare and payment method, promo applied, pickup and drop-off, your rating, and any tip.
Download a PDF statement. On the desktop Help Centre you can pull a statement: choose a time period, filter by receipt type (personal or business) and transaction type, click Submit, then Print to save a PDF. Grab caps this at 300 transactions per download within the 6-month window, so a full history may need several passes.
A Grab transport e-receipt shows the total fare, pickup date and time, driver's name, vehicle fleet, booking code, pickup and drop-off locations, payment method, and a fare breakdown that Grab itemises as Ride Fare (base fare before discount), Rewards (promo value), Tolls & Others (surcharges), and a foreign payment fee where one applies. Our generator reproduces that structure so a reconstructed record lines up with the ones your finance team already sees.
If you expense Grab regularly, Grab's Business Profile is the fix for lost receipts: it's "an additional user profile in your Grab app that helps you separate work-related Grab receipts from your Personal Profiles for easier expense claims." Receipts go to your work email, consolidated statements download from the app's Business Centre, and Grab syncs work receipts with Concur, Expensify, and Chrome River. You can set statement frequency to Never, Monthly (the default), or Weekly, and business billing statements download from the Grab for Business portal as PDF or CSV.
Enter the fare, date, pickup and drop-off, and payment method from your card statement, and export a clean PDF to file alongside it. A reconstructed receipt is a personal record — pair it with the bank line that proves the payment. Submitting a fabricated receipt for a reimbursement you didn't incur is expense fraud.
Grab's own materials list eight markets: Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Receipt steps are broadly the same across them, with small wording differences per country Help Centre — the Philippines edition, for example, adds an opt-in for a daily GrabPay wallet transaction statement under Account → General → Settings → GrabPay → Communications.
We build the same format for Uber, Lyft, Ola, DoorDash, Swiggy, and Zomato. For the tax side of travel records, see IRS receipt requirements.
Six months. Grab states you can only retrieve transactions from the past 6 months, and each transaction-history download is limited to 300 transactions per batch.
Verify your email in the Grab app (Account icon → tap your username → look for the green check mark). Once verified, Grab automatically emails e-receipts for your transactions. For one specific receipt: Account → Help Centre → your booking → View more articles → 'I'd like an email copy of my receipt' → Send Receipt.
Yes — on the desktop version of Grab's Help Centre, select a time period, filter by receipt type and transaction type, click Submit, then Print to save a PDF. Up to 300 transactions per download within the 6-month window.
Total fare, pickup date and time, driver's name, vehicle fleet, booking code, pickup and drop-off locations, payment method, and a fare breakdown covering Ride Fare, Rewards, Tolls & Others, and any foreign payment fee.
Use Grab's Business Profile — a second profile in the app that sends work receipts to your work email, provides consolidated statements, and syncs with Concur, Expensify, and Chrome River. Statement frequency can be set to Never, Monthly (default), or Weekly.
Grab can't retrieve it. Your card statement proves the payment; you can rebuild a legible itemized copy with this generator for your own expense or travel file and keep the two together.
